A combined team comprising members of the Anti-Drug Police Force searched a Mitsubishi Canter driven by Saw Tha Htoo, accompanied by Saw Naing, near Nantsiaung Village in Panglong Village-tract, Mohnyin Township, at 6 pm on 21 April. The police seized 43.5 kilogrammes of opium extract worth K60.9 million and 35 kilogrammes of raw opium valued at K42 million.

Additionally, the police searched a package belonging to Ma Lei Zarli Htay at a bus station in North Okkalapa Township at 3 pm on 21 April and seized 48,000 stimulant tablets valued at K48 million. The offenders are being prosecuted under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
