WITH opportunities for trade and investment networking, the Myanmar-China Trade and Investment Expo 2026 is still in progress at the Yangon Convention Centre (YCC) on the campus of the Inya Lake Hotel, Yangon, from 26 to 28 June.

The opening ceremony of the 10th Agritech Myanmar, the 4th Food and Beverage, Horeca Myanmar 2026 and the Myanmar-China Trade and Investment Expo was held on the morning of 26 June. The event has been ongoing from 9 am to 5 pm.

At the expo, MSME products and services of more than 100 local Micro, Small, Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), booths of Chinese businesses and industrial, agricultural, trade, technology and other sectors have been exhibited. The event has offered opportunities for business matching and networking in the Myanmar-China trade and investment sector.

“More than 100 booths have been on display, the majority of which are Myanmar MSME products. China has brought technologies and networking opportunities, and we will share them with them. This expo is mainly purposed to establish networks between potential Chinese investors and Myanmar exporters. It is not only an expo, but it is a business gathering on knowledge sharing and networking,” said the vice-chair of the Union of Myanmar Bamar Ethnic Entrepreneurs Association (UMBEEA).
