MYANMAR’S government has been dealing with forced labour complaints in cooperation with ILO and relevant ministries since 2007. Since 2020, forced labour complaints have been settled through the National Complaint Mechanism (NCM), which includes representatives of the National Human Rights Commission, employer organizations, employee organizations, and relevant ministries, including the Ministry of Labour.

Nowadays, it is reported that forced labour victims can safely contact and complain to the Office of the State Administration Council, Region and State governments, Nay Pyi Taw Council, Myanmar National Human Rights Commission, ILO Liaison Office (Yangon) and other organizations or Ministry of Labour Office No 51, Nay Pyi Taw, in person or in writing via 067 3430184, 067 3430229, and 067 3430274 and director-general. dol@gmail.com, moloffice51@gamil.com, and research.org. dol.mm@gmail.com.
