A ceremony to warmly welcome back the triumphant frontline Tatmadaw members who courageously served duties in Muse Township, Shan State (North), was held at the local battalion in Mongkhok, Shan State (East), yesterday.

Deputy Commander of the Triangle Region Command Brig-Gen Kyaw Naing Soe, relevant departmental officials, members of the Myanmar Police Force, war veterans’ organization and local ethnic people welcomed back returning soldiers with heartfelt enthusiasm.

The Deputy Commander and officials welcomed back the victorious Tatmadaw members with sprigs of Eugenia, and presented the cash prizes to the returnees. The event included traditional dance and music performances.

The Deputy Commander and party had lunch together with the victorious Tatmadaw members.
