SOME government employees of Union-level organizations and ministries have been blacklisted by their respective departments for abandoning their workplaces without permission. This situation has resulted in human resource losses and adversely affected the social lives of the employees involved.

To mitigate these impacts, the government has decided to remove employees from the blacklist based on their reasons for absence and will help them reintegrate within the boundaries of the law. Employees are urged to report to their respective departments, the nearest sub-township, township, district, region and state administrative bodies, Myanmar embassies, military attaché offices and consulates starting 15 July 2024.
