THE Government of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar emphasizes the interests of the State and its people, and the government employees play vital roles.

Therefore, the government has allowed the salary raise and additional allowance for civil servants for their welfare. Government employees received additional allowance of K30,000 per month in addition to monthly salary starting October 2023. Currently, government employees will receive an additional allowance of K30,000 in addition to a monthly motivation of K30,000 beginning in August 2024. Moreover, the retired government staff are also allowed to receive additional allowance of K30,000 per month. The allowance will be granted on 1 August 2024.
