1.The Union Election Commission is managing the successful holding of 2020 General Election on 8 November in line with the COVID-19 preventive guidelines, and working for the voting of all eligible voters in the respective townships including in the areas under the stay-at-home order due to the spread of this disease.

2.The Ministry of Health and Sports has issued Order 135/2020 dated 25-10-2020 to allow the people in the areas under the stay-at-home order in respective con-stituencies for advance voting or normal voting on the Election Day to be able to organize the 2020 General Election successfully.

3.Moreover, the Ministry of Health and Sports has issued Order 137/2020 dated 25-10-2020 to allow gathering more than 30 persons at the polling stations for en-suring compliance with the rules and disciplines issued by the Union Election Commission and the Ministry of Health and Sports in coordination in order to hold the 2020 General Election successfully.

4.Therefore, all the eligible voters who included in the voter list and have not cast their advance ballots in respective townships including in the areas under the stay-at-home order are encouraged to cast their votes on the Election Day not to lose their voting rights prescribed in the State Constitution.
