A delegation from the Macau-Myanmar Friendship Association, led by Chairman Mr Jose Wong, met members of the Myanmar-China Friendship Association (Central), including the chairman and vice-chairpersons, yesterday morning at the UMFCCI Hall.

During the meeting, the Myanmar association’s chairman highlighted their commitment to strengthening and sustaining the long-standing ties between Myanmar and China, emphasizing the association’s role in facilitating activities beneficial to both governments and people. He noted the significance of this era as both governments have entered a new phase of cooperation.

The chairman of the Macau-Myanmar Friendship Association then mentioned that their organization focuses on health, education, and cultural initiatives, with business leaders engaged in areas such as IT and pharmaceuticals. He invited Myanmar students to study in Macau, adding that the association would offer necessary support and assistance. — MNA/KZL
