REPORTS circulated alleging that security forces destroyed more than 100 homes in Kanbalu Township, Sagaing Region, on 13 November. However, these reports were fabricated to mislead the public.

According to officials, security forces are currently collaborating with residents to maintain order and prevent terrorists from occupying the area. Security measures are conducted in line with established laws to ensure peace and safety. Malicious news media spread this misinformation to create distrust towards security forces among the public.
