FALSE information spread by subversive media claimed that more than 30 people were arrested in Minhla and Okpo Townships in Bago Region for being forced into military service, with those attempting to flee allegedly being shot, injuring one person.

In response to these reports, officials from the relevant township military units clarified that no youths or pedestrians were arrested or conscripted into military service. That was simply a fabricated story spread by malicious media with the intent to mislead the public.

Malicious media deliberately spread false information and propaganda in an attempt to cause panic and disrupt the peace and stability of the region.
