Armed insurgents launched attacks in townships, wards and villages and against passenger buses using heavy weapons, rockets and bomb drops.

On 18 November, security forces received a report that the dead and injured people were taken to Mandalay General Hospital in Chanmyathazi Township after the bomb blast. According to the investigation, the bomb drops by PDF terrorists using drones exploded near the Katha-Mandalay “Ngwe Oh Mann” passenger bus which arrived near Paygyi village in Kanbalu Township, Sagaing Region. After the bomb blast, Ma Eaindra Moe, aged four, died at the spot, and Daw Khin Htay, 57, Daw Nyein Sabei, 30, Daw Yin Htwe, 33, and Maung Thiha Naing, three years old, were injured.

Locals strongly oppose such attacks by terrorists, and the security forces conduct necessary measures by cooperating with the locals.
