U Than Swe, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs received Ms Maria Izaskun Gaviria Ayucar, Senior Fund Portfolio Manager of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

They exchanged views on matters related to the Global Fund’s ongoing activities in Myanmar. They discussed enhancing cooperation between the Government of Myanmar and the Global Fund.

Senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were present on the occasion.
