Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs Jeng Phang Naw Taung, accompanied by Deputy Minister U Zaw Aye Maung, visited the Paunglaung Indoor Stadium Sports Training Camp in Pyinmana yesterday afternoon to watch and support the tune-up match between the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs and the Shan State team that will compete in the Fifth National Sports Festival Inter-Ministery Open Sepak Takraw (Male) Competition.

The Union minister and deputy minister first greeted the athletes representing the ministry who will compete in the National Sports Festival. The Union minister urged them to compete by efforts with the right sports spirit and strive to win the medals that are worthy of the ministry. The athletes will be given appropriate awards and commendations and urged them to work hard to bring forth a new generation of young athletes who can bring pride to the country.

Jeng Phang Naw Taung and U Zaw Aye Maung then watched and encouraged the competition between the Ministry of Ethnic Affairs team and the Shan State team, presented awards and refreshments to the athletes from both teams and cordially greeted the competing athletes.
