A dinner in honour of the 100th Anniversary of Myanmar Economics Education took place at the Myanmar International Convention Centre II in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday with the attendance of Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister Vice-Senior General Soe Win.

Also present at the event were, Daw Than Than Nwe, the wife of Vice-Senior General, council members and their wives, Union level officiers, Union Ministers and their wives, the Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman, senior military officiers, deputy ministers, ceremony organizing committee and subcommittee members, economics and business associations members, members of UMFCCI and brother associations, and other invitees.

At the event, the Vice-Senior General made a speech.

Then, Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Dr Kan Zaw presented gifts marking the 100th anniversary of Myanmar economics education to the Vice-Senior General. He also presented gifts to the Rectors of the University of Economics of Yangon, Monywa and Meiktila and the principal of National Management Degree College.

Then, the Vice-Senior General and his wife enjoyed the dinner together with the attendees.

During the dinner, artistes from MRTV and the Department of Fine Arts, alumni of universities of economics and staff of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations entertained the guests with songs and dances.

After the dinner, the Vice-Senior General gave the flower bouquet and cash awards to performers and greeted attendees.
