ON behalf of the Government and the people of the Kingdom of Cambodia, I would like to convey my warmest congratulations and best wishes to Your Excellency, the Government and the friendly people of Myanmar on the auspicious occasion of the 77th Anniversary of the Independence Day of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

Cambodia deeply values the strong and friendly relations we share with Myanmar. Over the years, our two countries have enjoyed warm relations and close cooperation built upon trust, mutual understanding and mutually beneficial cooperation. I am pleased to see an increasing growth in our relations, fostered by close engagement. Our recent bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the 11th Cambodia-Lao PDR-Myanmar-Viet Nam (CLMV) Summit in the Chinese city of Kunming in November 2024, reinvigorated our existing warm relations and strong partnership.

May I take this opportunity to reiterate my firm commitment to working closely with Your Excellency at bilateral and multilateral frameworks to further consolidate and enhance the excellent ties for the well-being and prosperity of our two peoples. Next year marks the 70th anniversary of our diplomatic relations, both countries should jointly organize meaningful activities. Please accept, Your Excellency, the renewed assurances of my highest consideration.
