MALICIOUS media outlets intentionally spread fake news, claiming that security forces launched drone attacks in Htisone village of Hsihseng township, Pa-O Self-Administered Region in Shan State (South) and two houses were burnt down after the attack, on 6 January.

According to a security official, terrorists launched armed attacks, mine attacks and arson attacks. Security forces participate in rehabilitation and maintenance work on damaged houses of civilians and protect their lives and property.

Subversive media outlets intentionally circulate false claims and misinformation to intimidate people and cover the unlawful actions of terrorists and misleading the public about security forces carrying out security duties.
