Deputy Minister for Industry U Yin Maung Nyunt received a delegation led by Deputy Minister of Industry of Belarus Mr Denis Bakei in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.

During the meeting, they cordially discussed collaborative efforts between Myanmar and Belarus in areas such as joint production of cancer, neurological and ophthalmic medicines, development of electric vehicles and related industries, advancements in ceramics manufacturing and technology improvements in rubber and related products. Both sides also discussed training and exchange programmes for the ministry staff to Belarus, as well as the development of Myanmar’s garment sector.

Present at the meeting were directors-general, managing directors, and other officials from the Ministry of Industry. — MNA/KZL
