A delegation led by General Detnitit Luangngamkum, Director-General of the Thai Veterans Association arrived in Myanmar on 6 January for a study tour.

During their visit, the delegation explored Myanmar’s prominent locations. On 6 January, they visited the Myanmar Thagoung War Veterans Advance Housing in Yangon, followed by pilgrimages to the Botahtaung Pagoda and Shwedagon Pagoda.

On 7 January, the delegation met the chairman of the Myanmar War Veterans Central Executive Committee in Nay Pyi Taw and toured the Defence Services Museum and the Maravijaya Buddha Image. On 8 January, they visited the Zegyo Market and Mandalay Hill in Mandalay. On 9 January, they explored the Mandalay Royal Palace before departing for Thailand via air from Mandalay. — MNA/KZL
