State Administration Council Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and wife Daw Kyu Kyu Hla paid homage and looked into the health conditions of Presiding Patron Sayadaw of the Mahavijitayon Pariyatti Monastery in Chanayethazan Township, Mandalay, State Ovada Cariya Abhidhaja Maha Rattha Guru Abhidhaja Maha Saddhammajotika Bhaddanta Vicarinda Bhivamsa, 97 years old, vasa 77, receiving medical treatment at the Defence Services Hospital in PyinOoLwin yesterday morning.

The Senior General and his wife enquired regarding the health conditions of Sayadaw. He then asked medical officials about arrangements for providing medical treatment for Sayadaw and urged them to fulfil the need in a timely manner.

The Senior General and his wife offered alms donations, medicines, nutritious bird’s nests and cash to Sayadaw.
