Malicious news media outlets falsely reported that three civilians were killed and four others injured in an aerial attack on the eastern part of Demawhso, Kayah State.

According to security personnel, these reports are entirely inaccurate. Security forces conduct operations based on confidential information provided by civilians regarding terrorists hideouts in the region. The operations specifically target terrorists and do not involve civilian areas.

These false reports are spread through social media platforms in a bid to mislead the public, create confusion and tarnish the image of security forces. Authorities have warned the public to be cautious of such misinformation, which aims to support terrorist activities.
