THE Ministry of Information donated 100 MRTV DTH dishes and 300 DVB T-2 set-top boxes for Myanmar war veterans and families yesterday.

Speaking at the donation ceremony, Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn expressed pride for Tatmadaw members as they serve the country when they are in service as well as after retirement, and appreciated the cooperation of war veterans with Tatmadaw in State stability processes.

He then briefed the donation for Tatmadaw members and families to ensure supportive actions by considering the misinformation and disinformation.

He handed over 100 MRTV DTH dishes and 300 DVB T-2 set-top boxes to Vice-Chair 1 Lt-Gen Ye Aung (Rtd) of the Myanmar War Veterans Organization.
