At the business networking booth of the Union-level MSME exhibition and competition marking the 78th Anniversary of Union Day, it offered networking opportunities for local and foreign markets, capital and One-Stop Services of ministries concerned.
In doing so, the event created local market connectivity for five MSME business people from Bago, Mon and Yangon with the retailers for their instant food, elephant foot yam, dried areca nut and tea leaves, meanwhile in foreign market networks, five MSME businesspeople from Taninthayi, Mandalay, Ayeyawady, Mon and Kayin and 16 economic attaches discussed to export rubber, pearl and dried elephant foot yam. Similarly, in a capital network, nine MSME business people from Kayin, Sagaing, Bago and Shan (South) communicated with bankers for capital investment.
Moreover, the Intellectual Property Department discussed with four companies for application of trademark rights and the receiving of registration certificates after applying for the trademark rights. The Department of Food and Drug Administration discussed the FDA applications with one tamarind toffee business group from Ayeyawady Region, one dried mutton business group from Sagaing Region and one natural shampoo business group from Mandalay Region.
Similarly, the Directorate of Investment and Company Administration clarified the questions of elephant foot yam and areca nut business people from Mon State regarding the obligations to be followed by the directors and supported the needed assistance in new company registration processes of the Ribbed Smoked Sheet industry from Kayin State.
