Myanmar Tourism Bank (MTB) and Myanmar Construction Entrepreneurs Federation (MCEF) have signed an MoU to help MCEF’s members achieve greater success in the future via timely facilitated activities, according to the MTB.

The MTB will provide financing facilities and lending services to the members in line with the bank’s purpose of providing banking products for the development of businesses, including quality infrastructure, factories, and housing in Myanmar’s construction sector.

This cooperation also aims to connect domestic and foreign construction organizations, experts, material manufacturers, and dealers to further develop the construction sector, to compete internationally, to create job opportunities, and to link among the association and its regional and state members, that contribute to the nation’s development goals.
This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on 7 February at the MCEF (Head Office) in Thingangyun Township, Yangon Region, by U Thein Han, Vice Chairman of the MTB and U Shein Win, Chairman of the MCEF, and witnessed by Daw Theingi Lin and U Win Lwin, Executive Director and CEO of the MTB, and Dr Nyan Thit Hlaing and U Ko Ko Lay, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of the MCEF.
