Malicious news media have been spreading false reports on social media, claiming that an airstrike on Manle Village in Ngazun Township, Mandalay Region, on 23 February injured two innocent civilians.

According to official security sources, the actual incident involved necessary security measures near Manle Village on that day after a responsible civilian reported the presence of PDF terrorists gathering in the area for terrorist activities. As a result of the operation, terrorists were injured. However, subversive media outlets deliberately fabricated stories to mislead the public with false claims and propaganda.
