MALICIOUS news media spread false reports that security forces entered Myaung village, NyaungU Township, Mandalay Region, during a novitiation ceremony and arrested 10 villagers.

Regarding this claim, an official responsible for township security clarified that the report is entirely untrue. He stated that security forces did not unjustly arrest any peaceful residents. Instead, he explained that it is PDF terrorists who have been committing acts of violence against civilians, including those who do not support them, government employees and Buddhist monks. These terrorists have engaged in killings and forced recruitment under various pretexts.

They intend to mislead the public about the efforts of security forces in maintaining regional stability.
