MALICIOUS media outlets intentionally spread fake news, claiming that security forces killed an innocent civilian in Nganan Village, Myingyan Township, Mandalay Region, on 26 February.

According to a security official, security forces did not kill any person from the village.

Subversive media outlets deliberately circulate false claims and misinformation as part of a propaganda campaign, misleading the public about security forces carrying out their duties.
