During the Myanmar-Russia Business Forum held in Moscow on 5 March, Myanmar and Russian companies reached an understanding on exporting parboiled rice to Russia and importing fertilizers and pesticides from Russia.
As a result, Myanmar’s Starbanner Company Limited and Russia’s Tabiya Limited Liability Company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) yesterday morning at the Lotte Hotel in Saint Petersburg.
The signing ceremony saw State Administration Council Member General Nyo Saw, Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Dr Kan Zaw, representatives from the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI), and the Myanmar Fertilizer Association.
