Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn met former Prime Minister of Nepal Mr Madhav Kumar Nepal and former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand Mr Sihasak Phuangketkeow separately yesterday morning at the meeting hall of the Ministry of Information in Nay Pyi Taw.

They are in Myanmar to attend the forum on “Forum on Myanmar Beyond 2025: Challenges and Opportunities in the Multipolar World”. During the meetings, they cordially discussed ensuring the successful organization of the forum, providing effective recommendations, and strengthening bilateral relations.

In the afternoon, the Union minister received and met Professor Dr Zhang Weiwei and his delegation from Fudan University, People’s Republic of China, at Horizon Lakeview Resort in Nay Pyi Taw.

Deputy Minister U Ye Tint, the permanent secretary and officials also attended the meetings.
