The annual report writing team of the National Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities held its fourth coordination meeting yesterday at the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement in Nay Pyi Taw. Speaking at the meeting, U Aung Hla Tun, the Deputy Minister for Information, in his capacity as the chairman of the annual report writing committee, said the team, in previous meetings, deliberated on the size of the book and the deadline for the release of the report.

He added that the team also decided to release the report in Myanmar language first and in English later.
The team held its first meeting on 9 October, 2019, the second meeting on 8 November, and the third on 28 November.
The deputy minister said the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, the focal ministry responsible for drafting the report, has to check facts and figures forwarded by ministries, regional and state governments, and organizations. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Information will take the responsibility for the editorial section and the layout design, and check the protocol in the book.
Afterwards, Member of the Annual Report Producing Committee Director General of the Rehabilitation Department U Win Naing Tun reported on progress of implementation of decisions made at the third meeting, information, facts and figures collected for the annual report and tasks to be carried out in collaboration with other ministries.
Departmental officials who were also attending the meeting took part in the discussion and gave suggestions for producing the annual report.
The meeting came to an end with concluding remarks by Deputy Minister U Aung Hla Tun.
