THE second-day meeting of the State Peace Talks Team and the Restoration Council of Shan State-RCSS delegation was held at the meeting hall of the National Solidarity and Peacemaking Centre on 31 Au­gust morning.

The meeting was attended by SAC Member Union Minister at the Union Government Office Chairman of the National Soli­darity and Peacemaking Nego­tiation Committee Peace Talks Team Leader Lt-Gen Yar Pyae and members: SAC Member Lt- Gen Moe Myint Tun, NSPNC Secretary Lt-Gen Min Naung and RCSS Chairman General Yawd Serk, Secretary (1) Sao Sai Ngin and Central Executive Committee Member Sao Saung Han.

At the second-day meeting, NSPNC member Lt-Gen Win Bo Shein clarified the agreements included in Tables 1, 2 and 3 of the Union Accord along with the findings and whether they con­form with the existing laws. Lat­er, the participants exchanged their opinions and held a mutual discussion.

Afterwards, they conferred on general matters and ad­journed the meeting.

The third-day meeting will be held at the National Solidar­ity and Peacemaking Centre on 1 September.
