UNION Minister for Electric Power U Thaung Han received Deputy Chief Executive Officer Mr Nikolaychuk Vsevolod and party of SITES-Centre JSC com­pany from the Russian Federa­tion at the meeting hall of the ministry yesterday morning.

At the meeting, they dis­cussed matters relating to solar energy and small hydro­power sectors and investment and cooperation for the devel­opment of the electric power sector of Myanmar.

Present at the meeting were the deputy minister, the directors-general, the manag­ing directors from the Ministry of Electric Power and officials from the Myanmar-Russia Friendship and Cooperation Association.
