Education sector development plays a key role in enhancing the quality, human resource development and national development undertaking, said Vice-President Nan Ni Ni Aye at the 25th Anniversary (Silver Jubilee) of the West Yangon University under the Ministry of Education on its campus in Yangon yesterday morning.

Efforts must be made to develop reliable rural credit and financial systems so that farmers can easily invest in and adapt new technologies for agricultural production and livestock breeding, said Vice-President Nan Ni Ni Aye, who leads the Steering Committee on Protection of Farmer Rights and Enhancement of Benefits, at its plenary meeting 1/2026 at the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.

A ceremony to open the Tastes of the Golden Land 2026, organized by the Myanmar Restaurant Association under the supervision of the Ministry of Hotels, Tourism and Culture, took place at the Yangon Convention Centre in Yangon yesterday morning, attended by Vice-President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Nan Ni Ni Aye.
