ACCORDING to the Ministry of Immigration and Population, citizenship scrutiny cards will be issued to about 800,000 people who are already 18 years old in the remaining period of the Pankhinn project phase-2.
“As of 31 July 2023, over 900,000 people have been issued CSCs,” said the Union Minister for Immigration and Population on 15 August.
In the Pankhinn project phase-2, those who have not yet had the CSC due to various reasons will be able to apply for it.
The Pankhinn project lasted 18 months from 3 May 2021 to 3 November 2022. From the start of the project until 31 July 2023, more than 3.3 million people were issued the CSCs.
The duration of the Pankhinn project phase-2 is 17 months from 1 August 2022 to 31 December 2023 and measures are being taken to issue CSCs to more than 1.7 million people during this period.
