Message from Mr Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand to U Than Swe, Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar on the occasion of the 75th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Thailand and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar

On behalf of the People of Thailand, I have the honour to extend my sincerest congratulations and best wishes to Your Excellency and the people of Myanmar on the auspicious occasion of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Thailand and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

Over the past seventy-five years, our bilateral ties have been cordial, friendly and robust. Our cooperation and partnership have grown from strength to strength. As “Natural Strategic Partners”, Thailand and Myanmar have embarked on a shared journey aiming at addressing common challenges and fostering prosperity for our two countries and peoples.

As we commemorate this important milestone, I wish to reaffirm Thailand’s commitment to further strengthening our bilateral cooperation to jointly pursue peace, prosperity, and development and to ensure that our people-to-people ties will continue to thrive in the years to come.
