DEPUTY Minister for Information U Ye Tint met teachers and students from No 18 Basic Education High School in Aungmyaythazan township in Mandalay yesterday morning. The deputy minister urged students to learn to benefit the nation and teachers to train students who can benefit the Nation.

The deputy minister presented books and periodicals for the school library provided by the Ministry of Information and sports equipment provided by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs. In addition, he inspected the school library and instructed students to make use of it and cultivate a habit of reading.
