STATE Administration Council Members U Shwe Kyein and U Yan Kyaw met the state, district, and township-level departmental officials, town elders, ethnic literature and culture associations and business people in Lashio yesterday.

During the meeting, SAC Member U Shwe Kyein talked about the role of education in shaping the future of the youths, measures to ensure human resources for the country, efforts of the government to enhance production based on agriculture and livestock and the crucial role of education and health sectors in promoting the socioeconomic status.

Then, SAC Member U Yan Kyaw highlighted the matters related to the emergence of intellectuals and educated persons in regional development, education, health, social, economic and nation-building tasks. After the meeting, they paid homage to Presiding Sayadaw Dr Bhaddanta Punya Nanda of Mansu Shan Monastery and donated offerings and cash.
