THE Permanent Representative of Myanmar in Vienna of Austria participated in the UNWG Charity International Luncheon held at Vienna International Centre on 20 September.

The International Charity Luncheon was organized by the United Nations Women’s Guild of Vienna.

A total of 35 international embassies and missions donated food at the International Charity Luncheon.

The United Nations Women’s Guild of Vienna was founded in 1967 as a charitable organization. The purpose of the Guild is to assist children in need and/or mother-childcare programmes throughout the world. Membership in the UNWG is open to any woman who is a staff member or the spouse of a staff member of the United Nations and International and International Organizations or Permanent Missions to these organizations in Vienna. The approximately 500 members come from over 100 countries, and all are volunteers for charitable activities.
