VICE-SENIOR General Soe Win alerts all to monitor the attempts of some powerful countries to interfere in the internal affairs of developing countries like Myanmar through various ways and means by applying soft and hard powers in multiple warfares.

Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win delivered a speech at the meeting with officer instructors and cadets at the Convocation Hall of the Defence Services Academy in PyinOoLwin yesterday.

Moreover, the Vice-Senior General stressed that the State, Tatmadaw and the people have to make collaborative efforts in unison to overcome challenges.

He said that the emergence of the State Administration Council was based on voting fraud in the 2020 general election, adding that the general election to be held by the State Administration Council must be free and fair.

Hence, he disclosed that IT technology is being applied in the enumeration of correct and basic population and household census and verifying citizenship scrutiny cards.

With regard to the peace process, the Vice-Senior General noted that the State and the Tatmadaw are holding peace talks with NCA signatories and non-signatories and opening the door for the restoration of durable and perpetual peace. He continued that arrangements are being made to hold the ceremony to mark the 8th anniversary of signing NCA in Nay Pyi Taw on 15 October.

The meeting was also attended by Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye, high-ranking senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, the commander of the Central Command, and the commandant of DSA.

The Vice-Senior General also attended the choice of arms for cadets of the 66th Intake of DSA in PyinOoLwin yesterday.

Also present at the choice of arms were Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Moe Aung, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung, high-ranking military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, the commander of the Central Command, the commandant of DSA and officials. They asked cadets in individuals about outstanding measures of literature and military arts, hobbies and industry and selected proper arms of the army, navy and air force corps.
