ACCORDING to the information released by the Ministry of Commerce, more than US$1.51 billion has been pocketed in the export of agricultural produce from Myanmar in the past six months.

Similarly, in the last financial year, more than $1.65 billion was received, a decrease of $135.66 million, as per to the data. According to the MoC, Myanmar exports agricultural produce, animal products, fishery products, mineral products, forest products, finished industrial products (CMP), and other products. In addition, the main imports are investment products, commercial raw materials, consumer goods, and CMP raw materials.

Myanmar exports agricultural produce to China, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, and Sri Lanka.
