COLONEL Min Naung, a member of the Nay Pyi Taw Council, led a team to Pyinmana Township to promote peace, security, and regional development in the mountain villages. They oversaw ongoing activities related to security, law enforcement, education, healthcare, and overall regional development.

Col Min Naung supervised the sale of rice and palm oil at affordable prices in Phalaung village, ensuring food security for residents. Following this, the team visited the newly constructed Hteinpyaung Village Basic Education Primary School in Hteinpyaung village. In the afternoon, they engaged with village administrators, sub-village department employees, militia members, and residents.

During the meeting, Col Min Naung emphasized the government’s commitment to narrowing the development gap between urban and rural areas by focusing on rural development and reaching every village.

The council member and department officials also visited monasteries, temples, and households, providing essential items to teachers and students, including food products, solar panels, school supplies, educational books, mosquito nets, medicine, and first-aid kits. The Pannkhin Project 2 facilitated the distribution of household certificates and citizenship scrutiny cards to village and village-tract elders, administrators, headmasters, and locals.

The team concluded their visit by paying respects to the Presiding Sayadaw of Aungthukha Monastery and presenting a pagoda statue, along with flowers and gifts.
