THE Myanma Oil and Gas Enterprise (MOGE) under the Ministry of Energy and Posco International Corporation (Myanmar E&P), a joint venture partner in Myanmar’s oil and gas industry and oil exploration, are conducting Offshore Topside Installation activities in the Shwe Phase III Development Project Area within Offshore Block No (A-1). The offshore construction and installation vessel, Hyundai 2500 (Call sign: 3FRA3), along with Lanpan 30 (Call sign: 9V2670) and Lanpan 34 (Call sign: 9V2757), will be carrying out these activities from 15 November 2023 to 30 April 2024, in the offshore Block No (A-1) area.

The coordinates of the activities are Point A 19°41´ 48.39´´ N and 92° 30´ 48.18´´ E, Point B 19°41´48.92´´ N and 92°34´ 14.27´´ E, Point C 19°38´33.72´´ N and 92°34´14.79´´ E, Point D 19°38´ 33.20´´ N and 92°30´48.76´´ E respectively.

To avoid causing any delays during the operation, large and small ships, small cargo boats and fishing boats should refrain from passing through or anchoring and setting up fishing gear within four kilometres of the above-mentioned areas according to the announcement.
