At the invitation of Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Moe Aung, Admiral Nikolai A Evmenov, the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, who is arriving in Myanmar, was welcomed by a guard of honour yesterday morning in front of Bayintnaung Villa in Nay Pyi Taw.

Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Moe Aung and Admiral Nikolai A Evmenov, the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, received the salute of the Guard of Honour and inspected the Guard of Honour.

Afterwards, the naval officers of the two countries who attended the ceremony were introduced to each other, and Admiral Nikolai A Evmenov, the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, signed the guest record book.

Next, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Moe Aung met with the Russian delegation in the reception hall of Bayintnaurg Villa.

The two navies of Myanmar and Russia openly discussed the conditions that will further enhance the existing friendship between the two navies, the training issues, the issues that will be held in Navy to Navy Talks, and the conditions that will increase the cooperation between the two navies of the two countries.
After the meeting, both sides gave each other commemorative emblems and took a photo together.

The Russian delegation visited the Memorial to the Fallen Heroes (Nay Pyi Taw), the Yadana White Elephant House, the Maravijaya Buddha Image, and the Buddha Park.

The Russian delegation arrived at Nay Pyi Taw Airport on the night of 3 November and were seen off by officials at the airport.
