THE State Administration Council issued Martial Law Orders No 10/2023, No 11/2023 and No 12/2023 on 12 November 2023.

Martial Law Order 10/2023 stated that the SAC has transferred the executive and judiciary power to the Commander of North-East Command to exercise the Martial Law under Section 419 of the Constitution to enforce security, the rule of law and community peace in six townships of Shan State.

Martial Law Order 11/2023 stated that the SAC has transferred the executive and judiciary power to the Commander of Regional Control Command (Laukkai) to exercise the Martial Law under Section 419 of the Constitution to enforce security, the rule of law and community peace in two townships of Shan State.

Martial Law Order 12/2023 stated that the SAC has transferred the executive and judiciary power to the Commander of North-East Command and the Commander of Regional Control Command (Laukkai) to exercise the Martial Law under Section 419 of the Constitution to more effectively enforce security, the rule of law and community peace in Shan State’s relevant townships.
