THE Ministry of Health is collaborating with ASEAN countries in various healthcare fields, and the exchange of experiences and cooperation in medical research and education is increasing.
A delegation led by Prof Dr Aye Aye Chit from the Ministry of Health attended yesterday's meeting of the ASEAN Medical Academic Association, held in connection with the annual conference of the College of Physicians of Malaysia.
On the first day of the meeting, medical doctors from ASEAN countries discussed global epidemics, including hormonal diseases, arthritis, and high blood pressure. They explored the latest therapies for conditions such as heart disease and kidney disease, addressing challenges and exchanging views on their experiences in treating these diseases.
The meeting, spanning from 17 to 19 November, will host international medical professionals, facilitating the exchange of medical experiences between countries. It is expected to provide valuable insights for the healthcare industry in the participants’ respective nations and foster the sharing of positive experiences among collaborating professionals.
