THE malicious media outlets intentionally spread video footage showing two men being burned alive, accusing the security force members of committing such actions.

The regional security officials and locals affirmed that PDF terrorists attacked the security forces and regional guard unit members in Myaukkhinyan village of Gangaw Township of Magway Region in November first week of 2023. They retreated with huge losses, and none of the terrorists were arrested alive.

According to the investigation, the two men in the video footage spreading online were PDFs, and they were intentionally murdered after territorial conflict, financial problems and unwillingness to make terrorist attacks anymore. Therefore, it is just a fabricated video posing as regional guard unit members.

The brutal activities of PDFs – killing people by using tyre rims, slashing, beating and burning to impose threats among the public – can be seen on social media.

The malicious media intentionally spread such brutal actions of PDFs, claiming that the security forces members committed these actions to mislead the international countries and people.
