The Myanmar Theatrical Association (Central) plans to join the International Ramayana Festival scheduled for 9 to 17 July in Bangkok, said U Nay Win, the association’s secretary.

“The Myanmar Ramayana dance troupe is currently rehearsing and preparing accordingly,” he added.

The festival will feature more than 20 Ramayana dance troupes from various countries, including Thailand, Myanmar, Indonesia, Malaysia, Laos, Cambodia, and India.
