ACCORDING to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the second anniversary of the opening of the Myanmar Consulate-General in Chongqing, China, was celebrated at the consulate-general on 12 July.

During the ceremony, Myanmar Consul-General U Kyaw Zay Yar Lin delivered a commemorative speech, and Mr Li Ming Quan, Deputy Director-General of the Foreign Affairs of the Chongqing municipal government, gave a congratulatory speech.

The event was also attended by the deputy director-general of the Culture and Tourism Commission of the Chongqing municipal government, consuls-general based in Chongqing, and other invitees.
