MNDAA terrorists fired at the non-military target Tatmadaw hospital in Lashio Township of northern Shan State with the use of rockets, heavy weapons and drones, causing deaths and injuries to residents, departmental personnel and families of security forces receiving medical treatment at the hospital. They abducted some patients by force. Moreover, locals fled to safer areas temporarily.

MNDAA committed war crimes, and the Federation of All Myanmar Theravada Buddhists Organization and the Sasana Nuggaha Association for Border and Hilly Regions (Central), Myanmar Women’s Affairs Federation, Myanmar Women and Children Development Foundation, Myanmar Federation of People with Disabilities, Federation of Myanmar Gold Entrepreneurs Association, Myanmar Gems and Jewellery Entrepreneurs Association, Myanmar Federation of Mining Association, Myanmar Dental Council, Myanmar Maternal and Child Welfare Association and Myanmar Academy of Medical Science issued statements strongly condemning MNDAA’s attacks that left residents, departmental personnel and families of security forces receiving medical treatment at the hospital dead and hurt.
