A team from the Drug Enforcement Division searched a motorbike driven by Zaw Min Aung near Lwadawkham Village, Tachilek Township, and seized 2,000 tablets at 8 pm on 18 August. On the same day, they also seized another 2,000 tablets from a suspect known as Aik Shen (also known as Sai Shen) near Mongponkha Village-Tract, Tachilek Township, at 3 pm.

Additionally, at 7 pm on 17 August, the team searched a Fuso 12-wheeled truck driven by Sai Mai Khun in Ward 2, Loilin Township, and confiscated 29,500 kilogrammes of ammonium nitrate, a controlled substance. The action was taken against offenders under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.
