Under the guidance of the National Natural Disaster Management Committee and the supervision of the Transport and Communications Committee, rehabilitation materials are being transported to Rakhine State by boats, aircraft, and motor vehicles.

Last night, the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief, and Resettlement sent 7,591 sacks of rice, as well as various food items, consumer goods, household items, electrical appliances, medicines, and related supplies, totalling 869.32 tonnes from Yangon to Sittway.

Since 16 May 2023 to date, a total of 49 transport vehicles, including military naval vessels, have delivered 71,099.43 tonnes of construction materials, electrical goods, medicines, health supplies, consumer goods, and food items, along with 249,762 gallons of diesel and 199,886 gallons of Octane 92 to Sittway, Rakhine State.
